April 16, a day etched in every resident’s/tourist’s memory – the UAE witnessed the heaviest rainfall in 75 years. Described as ‘a ‘years’ worth of rainfall in a day’, the city was met with many challenges – from flooded roads and submerged cars in some areas, to people stranded, and airports diverting flights.

Despite severe weather conditions across the UAE, and efficient government response to the situation, public safety was ensured. The Middle East Coating Show persevered on April 16, amidst the heavy rainfall and Evonik colleagues showed unwavering determination by attending the show and conducting on-site meetings as well as showcasing company offerings through presentations.

As ‘there’s sunshine after rain’, on April 18 business line Crosslinkers also presented its customer Hi-Tech Industries FZCO with a plaque and certificate in honor of its longstanding partnership of over a decade.
