The West and Central African regional cluster covers twenty two countries with a population of more than 480 million people speaking over 500 indigenous languages. This area experiences a particularly strong economic development with Nigeria, Ivory Coast and Ghana largely driven by deposits of precious metals, oil, and a wide range of agricultural products.
